Relief Printing

Instructor: Angela Risinger

Department: Printmaking

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of relief carving and printing using blocks and relief gouges. Students will see examples of various work from different artists, experiment with carving and inking a block, and create an edition of their own prints. They will also have the chance to use an etching press and work in a print studio.

-Must be comfortable using carving tools

Figure Drawing

Explore the art of drawing the human form in this guided studio class. Working with partially-clothed live models, students will develop observational skills, improve proportion and anatomy, and experiment with various drawing techniques. Open to all skill levels, this class provides a supportive environment for honing your figure drawing abilities
