Clay Gnomes

Instructor: Marie Lindahl

Department: Ceramics

Students will learn how to mold pieces of ceramic clay to design and make both a cute garden gnome. In this fun 1-time class we will create multiple pieces using simple tools, clay and water, then paint the pieces with underglaze to be fired and picked up at a later date.

Artistic Storytelling: Character Design

Instructor: Maggie Grugan

Department: Grand Prairie

Are you an aspiring comic artist, graphic novelist, or animator? Have you ever wanted to make your characters come to life? In this design course, we’ll be creating character turnarounds, revising drafts, and getting into the nitty-gritty of your original characters. Expect to implement your character’s personality into a well thought-out and harmonious design, which we will showcase to each other at the end.

Printmaking Open Studio 

Join us for flexible open studio printmaking experience! Designed for experienced printmakers, these sessions allow you to work independently in our fully equipped print studio.

Requirements:

Must be 18 or older

Prior experience in a print studio OR completion of a Peoria Art Guild printmaking class

Familiarity with printshop equipment and clean-up procedures

An experienced printmaking monitor will be on-site to assist with questions.

$10 per session covers materials like ink, paper, and studio access.

Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration through the Peoria Art Guild Website is encouraged.
