Color Theory Workshop

This one-day workshop is a quick step into color theory. We will look at artists’ work and create our own color studies. This is a good class for beginners, and for those with more experience who want to dive deeper into their use of color.
No art experience needed. Bring your own art materials, or work with provided oil pastels.

In this class, you will learn the basics of relief carving and printing using blocks and relief gouges. Students will see examples of various work from different artists, experiment with carving and inking a block, and create an edition of their own prints. They will also have the chance to use an etching press and work in a print studio.
Must be comfortable using sharp carving tools

A relaxed, adult life drawing class focused on gesture, proportion, and observational drawing techniques. Students will work from easels, drawing a draped live model in a supportive studio environment. Light instruction will provide guidance on form, composition, and artistic process.
Open to all skill levels.
