This class provides a fun and dynamic way for Preschool-Age and Pre-K children to develop their own creativity, sharpen fine motor skills, and build confidence while meeting new friends. We’ll explore many different ways to create!

Kids Clay Handbuilding at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie

Instructor: Marie Lindahl

Department: Kids

Students will learn how to mold pieces of ceramic clay to make a variety of pottery sculptures. For three weeks we will create multiple pieces using simple tools, clay and water. The final week students will get to paint the pieces with underglaze. Projects will then be fired to be picked up at a later date.

Week 1 will focus on drawing skills.
